Review of Wait Until Dark (1967) by Anis T — 05 Feb 2009
After seeing "Wait until dark", I instantly became a fan of Alan Arkin. His performance is totally unforgettable. He plays a master of disguise who terrorizes a blind woman in her own appartment. Apparently he thinks some drugs have been planted somewhere inside her house, and he hires 2 thugs to help him get it.
The whole movie is filmed in almost one location (which is the appartment) and somehow this is why I enjoyed it so much.I felt like I was part of what is going on. Audrey Hepburn plays the blind woman and she plays is so perfectly that you'd think she was really blind.
Wait until dark is an exellent nail biter and I suggest you watch it during the night when you're totally alone. This is one way of enjoying this memorable thriller...
