To preface, I don't claim to be well versed in politics.. but this movie was impressive. a very intriguing film. Josh Brolin provided a best actor worthy performance. Richard Dreyfus looked and sounded eerily like Dick Cheney.

The actors were so well cast, it was almost distracting. The actress portraying Condoleeza Rice tried a bit too hard but still did a great job, and wow- Rob Corddry???? Loved it. I think if Oliver Stone had waited a few years, this movie would have gotten much better reviews.

I am still impressed, however, by the nearly flawless and unbiased approach the director took. I'll admit, I had my doubts coming in. A fascinating look into the rocky road W took in getting to the white house.

interesting to know the brilliant insight Colin Powell had before the big decisions were made, and I am more impressed by how he swallowed his pride and stood next to his President despite his objections.

I'm also glad the movie emphasized the role of the advisors in all of GW's decisions. This is a movie that will likely be enjoyed solely by political know-nothings like me- as any others will have their deep seeded opinions already established and either be offended by the lack of Bush hate or Bush love.

this film confirms my opinion though. George W Bush was/is a cowboy, and the best decision America could have made leading up to the events that are still shaping a generation.
