Review of W. (2008) by Tony Z — 24 Mar 2010
An excellent analysis of the not only the effect of the campaign on Bush's psyche, but also captivating approach in how Bush sought the approval of his father and used this as a motivating factor for his actions.
Although the film does take a bit more of a stance for/against Bush @ opposite points, the overall work of the film really portrays Bush as a man who did what he THOUGHT was best for his country, while getting manipulated by false intelligence and his cabinent.
His own personal Trials and Tribulations were his own downfall as they clouded his judgements in times of need (such as when his father advised him to remain outside of politics). A great film that has a lot going for it, very well done.
