Review of W. (2008) by Andrew E — 13 Aug 2010
W. fits well with the impression I've always gotten of our 43rd president: a child of privilege, not overly bright, trying to do what he thinks is the right thing, getting in way over his head and surrounded by people giving him very, very bad advice.
I like Brolin's portrayal of Bush, but I can't say the same for some of the supporting actors, notably Thandie Newton's weird turn as Condoleezza Rice.
