Review of Virunga (2014) by 3Ebfan511 — 13 Mar 2015
Good documentary. Good film. Shows how war effects nature, and examines things we take for granted. Examines this subject better than any film I have ever seen I would say. Also examines explotation of native peoples lands for resources, although that has been going on for centuries in Africa so that arc was less compelling to me.
It didn't really go into why that happens, but just made one side look like the "bad guys". The destruction to the nature though was very compelling, no matter whose fault it was, and made it a good film.
