Review of Virunga (2014) by Jocelyn M — 25 Nov 2016
Overall my thoughts on Virunga were that it was a very great portrayed movie although very heartbreaking to see what these people who had fought for these endangered animals and the entire national park went through and how it didn't have a happy ending at all.
I would rate this film a 9 out of 10 because the film work was extremely amazing the angles and how they decided to film the danger shots and right in the middle of it all was extremely brave of them.
The people featured in this film were really involved within the gorillas lives every single day their main priority was to make sure the gorillas were fed and nurtured. The safety and concern of the people that lived there was also a big feature in this movie how they all had to flee from their villages that was a painful scene to watch because of so many of the children who were crying and screaming not understanding why they had to leave their home.
In the end of the film they surrender and are unaware of what the villages future holds or the gorillas future and there is a lot of injured children and soldiers being taken care of for shot wounds. I would definitely recommend this movie to friends and family members it was a very eye opening film.
