Review of Village of the Damned (1995) by Edward B — 18 Apr 2009
John Carpenter's remake of the 1960's classic Village of the Damned is a tightly directed piece of horror goodness from a fantastic filmmaker. Featuring some great performances from a cast of stars and some of the creepiest kids ever seen on film bar none, this movie never fails to frighten the audience with it's freakish "what if" scenario.
This one sort of flew under my radar the first time I saw it but no longer as it is an excellent horror film that keeps the viewer glued to the screen from start to finish.
