Review of Videodrome (1983) by Andy W — 25 May 2012
Videodrome is a disturbingly surreal and kinky thriller that manages to provoke me both visually and psychologically. The subject matters at hand still remain relevant in the contemporary world, where mass media particularly thrive on violence, sex and endless progress in technology.
Incidentally, as g a big Blondie fan, I am also glad to see Debbie Harry bear it all in the film.
