Review of Videodrome (1983) by Takushi Y — 01 Jan 2013
Despite loving Cronenberg's more recent work, I'm not a big fan of his early efforts. But I gave it a shot anyway as it's considered a classic. The technology and special effects of the movie are hopelessly dated, but having said that, I think I understood it well.
I loved the concept and the idea, but it left me with an eerie feeling, typical of Cronenberg's early work. Just not my idea of fun I suppose.
