Review of Videodrome (1983) by Richard L — 18 Jan 2013
This movie is mostly science-fiction but also has horror elements in it. The acting performances are good, the special effects are used efficiently, and the feel is not at all 80's-ish (except for the video cassettes).
The storyline and the directing are excellent. The whole movie is an analogy for the effects of mass-media violence, particularly mass-media sexual violence, on individuals.
