Cronenberg's best work, I believe. Maybe Naked Lunch has it beat. Very disturbing and touching on taboo subject matter. Some images in the film are hard to watch, but I'm sure Cronenberg wanted to disgust the audience so they cannot want this type of stuff in reality.
A truly terrifying movie. James Woods is great. My only issue is that the film is only 1 hour 30 minutes. I could've watch the story unfolds for a little longer.
