Review of Videodrome (1983) by Curtis B — 20 Apr 2009
I'm pretty new to David Cronenberg (I've only seen this and Naked Lunch), but if the rest of his movies are anywhere near as good as these two, I think I've found myself a reason to love Canada.
This is a grim, completely horrific nightmare of a movie and I give Deborah Harry much credit for allowing herself to taint her post-MTV glossed punk image for appearing as such a twisted character in such an endlessly disturbing movie.
