Review of Videodrome (1983) by Bobby B — 04 Nov 2009

David Cronenberg is one twisted guy. Videodrome, for example, centers around a guy who becomes addicted to a TV program that shows nothing but sex and torture, and later does weird things like have sex with his TV and grow a stomach-vagina that can eat videotapes.

Not really your average plotline for a movie, and it's kind of refreshing to watch something this joltingly bizarre and disturbing, even if it's never more than just coldly interesting. Not something I'll ever watch again, but if you're in the mood for something wholly unique and grotesque then make sure to give this one a try.
