Review of Videodrome (1983) by Edgar C — 31 Dec 2012

Videodrome is an absolutely special masterpiece. His "body horror" concept perfectly applies in this exclusively delirious journey into technology perdition while we slowly see the character being submerged in a world of disturbing fantasies and the control of mass media in contemporary society. It is more an analytical and introspective movie than sci-fi and horror, but Cronenberg proved to have tremendously huge DVD balls in the era of videotapes!!!

(Translate that last phrase as "ahead of his time".).
