Review of Video Games: The Movie (2014) by Chris E — 29 Jul 2014

After watching Video Games: The Movie, I walked away with a better understanding of the history, process, culture, and future of video games as a whole. I had a blast watching it and it scratched so many nostalgic moments from my life. Every few minutes I would be nodding my head with a sense of joy and excitement. Often thinking, "oh yeah, that's definitely how it was when I first got into that game. I remember that! Awesome!".

All I can say after watching this film is that I hope there will be another one. Or perhaps a TV show as there are many topics and stories I'd love to see fully flushed out in a "History Channel" type of way. Seeing all the celebrities and developers was amazing. I couldn't believe he had gotten all of them together. The creator of Atari, wow. I still can't believe that!
