Although it was rather informative and quite interesting at certain parts, Video Games: The Movie is very much a slow-paced and heavily disorganized film that overstates its welcome to an agonizing degree.

I almost fell asleep about 2 or 3 times over the course of watching the film, and I even caught myself groaning at the fact that the film was not over. To my understanding, that doesn't make a good movie.

Unless you're the kind of person who is so emphatically interested in finding things out about video games that you'd look at what is essentially a visual representation of a wall of text for 2 hours, I wouldn't recommend seeing this film any time soon.
