Review of Victoria & Abdul (2017) by Mark P — 15 Sep 2017

Judi Dench was brilliant playing Queen Victoria in her later years. A sweet film showing us her relationship with a Hindu brought over to give her a gift of a royal coin for her work for the empire. She takes a liking to Abdul and he quickly becomes her servant and close friend.

She plans to knight him and this doesn't go down well with the rest of the royal household. Some fantastic character interaction. Funny moments throughout and very enjoyable.
