As I have grown older I have developed an interest in British history so this movie was very interesting to me. I just wish that the story has been presented a little better. I would be hard-pressed to explain what I mean by "better!" I felt the talent of Judy Dench was not fully used in this film.
And I was not particularly charmed by the performance of the Indian lead male. I wish I could give it four stars but at one point I almost went to sleep so I guess I cannot do that.
