This was probably the best performance I've seen of Dame Judi Dench. She was such a delight to watch and had a pretty decent rapport with Ali Fazar. It was kinda heartwarming to see such an unlikely friendship blossom.
The rest of the cast was...meh. I have to wonder how much of this was historically accurate. Researching it should be fun! =).
