Review of Victoria (2015) by Sam P — 06 Dec 2015
The questions we asked in film school was why we need once take to tell a story? what would be the film if you remove one take from it? Is there a need for telling the story to make it one take? As in film community, having one take is more like saying yes we can do such thing.
But for Victoria it was different, it made an experience to be in time, in Berlin from 4,30 to 7 am. With a great camera work and performances made a such an interesting time to sit in the theater and live with characters for 2,5 hrs.
However, the story didn't build up for the motivation of Victoria to go that far in to the danger and beyond her boundaries.
