Review of Victor Frankenstein (2015) by Shannon O — 26 Jan 2016
I have not seen the earlier versions of the Frankenstein story to compare this film with. Maybe that is not such a bad thing when it comes to assessing it in a balanced way. I thought this was a decent two hours entertainment which kept me interested throughout.
It may be nonsensical at times but I found it to be enjoyable nonsense. James McAvoy is very good at being slightly unhinged in the lead role.
