Review of Victor Frankenstein (2015) by Richard D — 01 Nov 2017
A different take on the Frankenstein story. This one is from the perspective of Igor. While Igor is mostly just along for the ride, he straddles with the moral implications of their experiment. McAvoy does a wonderful job as the mad scientist with ego/atheist problems.
He's defiantly the fun part. The part of the financier is unnecessary and would have been far better without it. The love subplot is an ok addition to give Igor 1 foot in normality, but the real fun is in the laboratory.
The monster was short lived but a different take on what we usually get. Worth a watch but not amazing.
