Great acting, take the story with a large grain of salt. Bale does a great job as Dick Cheney and mastered his mannerisms and speech patterns. Steve Carell tried hard to portray Donald Rumsfeld, but the script is very flawed regarding Rumsfeld.

I met Rumsfeld one time in Taos New Mexico, he was not only larger than life, but very. very smart. A man who missed nothing, yet the movie portrays him as somewhat bumbling. Lynne Cheney was well portrayed and a realistic view of a strong woman.

I was surprised that rather than a bio pic this was almost a production of the Democratic National Committee. This was proven when I saw Brad Pitt's name on the credits.
