Absolutely enlightening, and terrifying at the same time. Layered, finely crafted, in-depth story telling based on historical fact, exposing obvious line connection to current chaos our country is experiencing now.
At this level of politics most everyone is driven by power and self-serving greed. Have always suspected Cheney hijacked the W presidency, this portrait supports that. Bale becomes Cheney in an amazing transformation nothing short of brilliant.
This is what good thoughtful provocative film making is about. Kudos Adam Mckay.
