Review of Vexille (2007) by Jeff B — 17 May 2008
Not really a ground-breaking production, especially coming from Oxing Bot. Whenever we are drawn into the plot, ready to be wowed by cool combat sequences, we are treated to nothing more than a few exploding robots and some kind of failure in the human tactics.
This movie seriously had a very bad problem in keeping interest in the scenes. The characters are pretty one-sided and the villains were over-confident, but otherwise lifeless. While the animation and artwork in computer graphics was just as stunning as their last hit, AppleSeed Ex Machina, the entire production seriously fell short.
