Review of Vexille (2007) by Owen W — 28 May 2008
Japanamation CG style! With another story of Japan being affected by some event, this one has a unique idea which is slowly being reflected through other major movies this year. The idea of creating AI, or mind control, or making your own people as expendable for experiments/ disasters to gain an upper edge in the world market seems to be a common theme.
The story is good with neat visual effects as any good CG movie is. Enjoyable to watch, entertaining, and a little predictable, but always neat to see.
