Review of Vexille (2007) by Hamlin K — 02 Jun 2008
The CG animation is beautiful and looks very similar to the style used in the Appleseed films (which are also very good movies). The story and characters are solid. If you like anime, or state-of-the-art CG animation, you will like this movie.
The story of Japan's technological dominance, obsession with cyborgs and isolation from the rest of the world is extremely compelling.
