Definitely one of the darkest comedies of all times. You must be willing to have an open mind and a suspension of disbelief to truly appreciate and enjoy the movie. There are some scenes that are so dark that I almost laughed just because the situation was so extreme.
Christian Slater was excellent as the villian, playing an intelligent, unremorseful, do what needs to be done friend. The cast was funny, and mixed in with the extremeness of the various situations, this movie explores the darker sides to the human mind.
Most people will not like this movie, but I was very entertained in a terrifying type of way and couldn't believe what was happening before my eyes. Devilish, sadistic, and downright EVIL!!!
