Review of Vertigo (1958) by Victor L — 18 Apr 2011
This is one of the films that earned Hitchcock the title of Master of Suspense. I think he was a very irregular movie director but he had a period of greatness(that was in the 40's and 50's, with some bad films).
Anyway, Vertigo is one of the 20th Century best movies because of its inspired technic, it's truly uncanny, and due to the great adaptation it had; James Stewart and Kim Novak are terrific together and the whole story's suspense actually works with all those twists.
