Review of Vertigo (1958) by Andreas O — 05 May 2011
Suspenseful and haunting thriller signed Alfred Hitchcock, featuring great and iconic performances from Stewart and Novak. Not received too well by the audiences of its time, which might be understandable as the story involves a somewhat immoral relationship and the plot is fairly convoluted and doesn't necessarily make too much sense.
Despite its apparent shortcomings, though, it has since been considered a great and influential film. And rightfully so.
