Review of Vertigo (1958) by Elizabeth N — 07 Oct 2018
Poor jimmy stewart is what you find yourself thinking at multiple points during this film. he's so troubled and kim novak isn't helping. it's such a bizarre film you can't help but be glued to the screen waiting in suspense to find out more alongside jimmy stewart.
initially, this film bombed at the box office because the payoff doesn't happen at the end of the film like a traditional movie does. the payoff happens after you watch and can't stop thinking about the classic noir images you've just witnessed!
