Review of Vertigo (1958) by Dane S — 25 Feb 2012
Shunned by the critics and the public on its first release in 1958, looking back over fifty years later, we see this film is one of Hitchcock's most technical films, from the performances and the visual effects.
It delivers on thrills and romance, and lacks his usual morbid humour - but that was a good decision, as this film is not one for humour. Classic.
