Review of Vertigo (1958) by Stef I — 04 Aug 2012
Why oh why is this movie so highly regarded? Psycho and Rear Window are two of my favourites, but this... Vertigo is an absolute snoozefest to the point of being insufferable. My gawd, by the first hour I had lost all interest but forced myself to endure the rest of it with the hopes that there would be some balls-out climax.
NOPE. I'm sure there are people who would say that I just can't appreciate a "classic" movie, but I can assure you I can, and Vertigo isn't one, despite the fact that the vast majority have convinced themselves otherwise.
This movie is insanely overrated.
