Review of Vertigo (1958) by Gavin P — 09 Jun 2013
A good mystery/conspiracy film, but definitely not "the greatest film ever" - not even Hitchcock's greatest film! Gets bogged down in Stewart's pining for Novak and waste's too much time not really moving the story forward.
And I'm pretty sure he only gets vertigo twice in the whole film! I'm just not sure why it's takes two hours to figure out what's obvious after about 70min - and then the ending is pretty inexplicable!
