Review of Vertigo (1958) by Will E — 08 Apr 2011

This is one of the best mystery movies I've ever watched. It's disturbing and frightening, yet likable and romantic. The acting is superb, not one actor was below perfect. The story was great, but sort of unrealistic, and the ending was.

..... It was........ Something. Just watch the movie and see what I mean. It masters romance it it clamps on mystery perfectly. I know this is weird to say, but the movie is very quotable. Plenty of great quotes can be heard among the movie including the final couple of scenes.

One last thing, there is one scene, the nightmare scene, that's there for no reason, and yet it works perfectly there. The movie without it wouldn't be the same. Overall, an amazing movie, definitely worth a watch.
