Brilliant piece of cinema, beautiful through to the (almost) end. But yes, in all honesty they botched the ending. It was a cop-out. If they'd ended three minutes earlier, I would have left with a wow.
Unfortuneately, they didn't have to guts to push this movie where it needed to go.
