When it comes to movies risen from the ashes of television shows, Veronica Mars is the best of it's kind since Joss Whedon's Serenity.

Rob Thomas absolutely brings it - smart dialogue wrapped in smarter plot. The comedy hits on every mark despite the risky and often subtle pop culture references pulled from deep corners of an internet generation. The cast's excitement to be back on screen together is almost distracting if it weren't completely endearing. And it felt organic, like we were picking up right where we left off - deep in the hearts of those in the heart of Neptune, CA.

I can't say that it's an epic spy movie in the vein of Mission Impossible. I can't even say it's the biggest case that the Mars family has ever been dealt. But it's exactly what every Veronica Mars fan deserved. It was true to itself in that it left every fan wanting more.

Now it's up to the studios and perhaps NETFLIX to decide it's worth. But for most of us, our adoration isn't quantifiable.
