A long time ago we used to be friends... And I'm glad to say we still are. I read an article during the kickstarter campaign that in a nutshell said, Veronica Mars fans making contributions to the ks fund were basically getting screwed because instead of getting stickers, t-shirts, digital d/l's and such they should be getting a piece of the profits.
What the author didn't get was that fandom isn't about money, it's about love and enthusiasm. I think we Veronica Mars fans got exactly what we paid for; a movie that is at times quirky, funny, suspenseful, touching and allows us to spend one hour and forty-eight minutes with characters we love.
Even movie goers who don't know Veronica, Logan, Mac, Wallace, Dick, Keith Mars and Piz can get to know them and their world in the feature with very little effort. I recommend both the movie and the series.
