Another great film that is based on true events. The movie is about a reporter who is writing articles about drug dealers and they start to fire back when she starts finding out who is running what. Cate Blanchett plays the reporter and does it very well, she is one of the best actresses out there without a doubt.
Whoever cast this movie did a great job because at the end when they show the picture of the real Veronica Guerin it is scary how much she looks like Cate Blanchett. Many of the scenes in the movie are shocking and believe it or not some scenes are similar to the situation in Puerto Rico with drugs.
The movie was very good but I couldn't give it the full rating because I feel that it is missing something, but I can't figure out exactly what. I guess it felt a little dull at times. Collin Ferrell has a cameo in this movie, very shortly but he comes out.
