Review of Veronica Guerin (2003) by Carrie B — 07 Jan 2009

As we know, I love a journalism movie...but ug, this one is poorly executed. Now, I LOVE a baller reporter as much as the next person, but I also found myself going - seriously? You are going to walk in on a drug dealer in what appeared to be a brothel and start asking him questions, you are going to go alone to a well-known violent criminal's house and harass him, and you think that somehow you WON'T get shot? I mean there is baller and then there is stupid.
