Good if minor Polanski. entertaining, engaging performances by the directors surrogate Almaric and his wife Seigner, and an ending that is as unforgettably deranged as its brother movie ending, The Tenant.
it's also kind of a shallow experience, not very deep, and the back and forth motions as to who is Dom and Sub in a moment gets frustrating at times. certainly for fans of high heels and silk stockings it's really something!
