Review of Vanity Fair (2004) by Elizabeth N — 04 Aug 2008
With the amount of text the film had to convey I think it did a stand up job. Vanity Fair is such a huge book to try and convert to the screen that you can't help but miss parts of the plot out, and although you do get the feeling you are missing some important moments it doesn't really take away from your understanding of the story.
Brilliant acting from all the cast, and amazing costumes are just some other reasons why this film is highly enjoyable.
