Review of Vanishing Point (1971) by Mark W — 15 Jan 2011
A bit of a counterculture classic, reminding us of simpler times when a muscle car and speed meant freedom and the man was always trying to take your freedom away. Some say this movie is about the failure of the hippy movement and the black counterculture to connect and be allies.
Receives an homage in Tarantino's recent "Deathproof".
