Review of Vanishing Point (1971) by Scott C — 07 Mar 2013
One heck of an anti-establishment film, Vanishing Point celebrates the freedom of driving and driving freedom forward. An inspirational radio host, a naked lady on a motorbike and Barry Newman's soulful stop in the desert at the beginning (which transforms into something else later on) all live long in the memory.
You'd take the ride with Newman, all the way to the vanishing point.
