Review of Vanishing Point (1971) by Joakim C — 03 May 2008

In principle an interesting 70s (cult) film about a guy who bets he can get a car to its destination within 15 hours. It has some nice car chasing scenes, and a pervading 70s feel, but a very straight forward (and a little boring) plot, forcing the movie to rely on a number of other factors.

Like interesting characters, which it lacks. Barry Newman is neither particularly engaging as the main character (maybe why we've hardly heard from him again).
