Review of Vanishing Point (1971) by Autumn H — 11 Jan 2009
I've never been into car movies, so I escaped seeing this until now- of course inspired by the Dodge Challenger in Quentin Tarantino's amazing Death Proof. I was surprised that a movie with such little dialogue could have such depth.
It also has some amazing visual moments- a white and black car crossing paths at huge speed, for instance. It's a little slow for those of us used to modern movies, but worth the time.
