Review of Vanishing on 7th Street (2010) by Divad D — 25 Feb 2011
Didn't like it.
Not a big fan of post apocalyptic movies. This movie is one more reason why. It actually started off decently well and appeared to be promising for a bit, then it went downhill from then on out.
Characters weren't developed well, some scenes didn't make sense at all, outrageously unrealistic, random and useless romantic scene, overkill on religious symbolizm throughout. A few pluses; Hayden was okay, not his best performance but I always enjoy watching him in different roles, musical score was fantastic, pretty original idea in terms of what exactly was attacking them.
This movie had some potential in my mind, overall I didn't like it but it had it's moments.
