Review of Vanishing on 7th Street (2010) by Toby V — 25 Sep 2015
Good premise, horribly executed. Generally, in these types of movies, some kind of explanation - even if only a partial one - is provided through the plot and story. In this case, however, nothing is forthcoming, leaving the viewer ever-more frustrated.
In the end, there is a clearly religious overtone: one boy and one girl are left. Which is stunningly stupid; you can't rebuild a whole species from only two specimens; insufficient genetic diversity.
