Fantastic shots and a beautiful cinematography cannot save a weak script, an over stretched premise, and a contrived plot twist. This movie is a 1 note apocalyptic horror flick that loses its edge by the 45 minute mark.
Other problems include some very cliched stereotypical characters and a historical colony disappearance reference that is out of context and lazily forced into the plot of this movie. Speaking of stereotypical characters, why is it that horror movies must ALWAYS have the religious nut?
