Review of Vanishing on 7th Street (2010) by Shari W — 23 May 2011
This one was really disappointing. The beginning of the movie looked promising but it ended up being just another bad execution of a good idea for a movie. The background story behind each character lacks depth which just makes them annoying. And then there are all those stupid little details that really ruin the movie, like for instance, why there was only 1 freaking car working in the entire city, why didn't they used the freaking alcohol in the bar as fuel to burn and make light [instead of using the precious gas for the generator - and turning some lights off would also have been a good idea], and then there is the worst fault of all: nothing is ever explained...
Plus, the movie isn't scary at all, but then again, I'm not sure if it was supposed to be *sarcasm*.
